WEDDINGS

Marriage takes place when you and your partner pledge yourselves to each other for a lifetime of faithfulness, love, and companionship. Couples choosing to join in marriage at Gloria Dei will be supported throughout the planning process. Our Pastor is available for premarital counseling and ceremony planning. Our musicians, custodian, and wedding coordinator work with each couple.

The Ceremony
A Christian wedding is a service of worship. The church takes seriously the couple’s wishes, but also the meaning of Christian marriage in the Lutheran tradition. That means Bible readings and prayer, for example, will be part of every wedding service. Our congregation joyfully celebrates love and is honored to officiate weddings, embracing couples of all orientations with open hearts and inclusivity!
